The World I Manage

House

The practical control room: the weather and calendar that start the day, the markets, a daily read on new tools, and — through its sub-sections — money, career, and focus. Below are the blocks on the Home view, then a card for each sub-section.

Weather

cloud — condition —
—°
What this block does Opens the day with the local sky — current temperature and conditions, with Now / Hourly / Weekly toggles. Live in the real app; blank here.
How it's determined Reads your location, then a public forecast service, and maps each condition code to an icon — and to the ambient sky the whole app is tinted by. (The moving sky behind this demo is that same mapping, on a local sample loop.)

Calendar

No events shown — this is a demo.

What this block does The next few days, pulled from a connected calendar, with a quick add-event form. Switches between 3-day, week, and month views.
How it's determined Reads across all your connected calendars — not just the primary one — so classes and shared calendars show too, filtered to the days in view.

Market

Sample line — not live data

What this block does Two broad market indices with a 1D–6M range control, so the morning includes a glance at the wider weather of money.
How it's determined Pulls two broad index quotes from a market-data service at the range you pick — a glance, deliberately not a trading screen.

AI Drop

Today's brief would appear here.

What this block does A short daily digest from an AI news companion — one headline worth knowing, why it matters, and a small thing to try. Refreshable.
How it's determined An AI companion reads a fixed set of AI-news feeds each morning and summarizes one item worth knowing — a briefing, not an endless scroll.

Financial Goals

Sample bars — no real figures

What this block does A read-only list of money goals, managed over in Star. Progress bars, no dollar amounts exposed on this view.
How it's determined Reads the goal rows you manage in Star and draws each as a progress bar — the percent only, never the amount, so a glance stays a glance.

Settings

dark_modeTheme
What this block does Sign-in, light/dark theme, and cache controls live at the foot of the Home view. The Theme toggle here is live — try it.
How it's determined Kept in the browser itself — the theme flag and cache controls are local UI state, the one place the app is allowed to remember something without writing it down.
front_handThis decision needs you

A money decision is staged in Scale — the app laid out the options, the trade-offs, the tax cost, and the worst case, then stopped. It won't lean, and it won't decide. The reasoning is done; the choice is yours.

a sample decision — waiting on a person
无为What House refuses

House never moves your money. It watches, models, and lays a decision out in full — but it will not place a trade, pay a bill, or transfer a cent. The hand on the money is always yours.

Sub-sections

Each of these is its own page in the real app, reached from the row under the title.

Records

A ledger of the system's own life — open threads, tool logs, a build changelog, and an ecosystem-status rollup, in tabbed views with search.

Scale

An investment-decision companion: a portfolio pulse, a set of open money decisions with options and trade-offs, a decisions journal, and a documented-mistakes library. No figures in the demo.

Philosophy

A read-mode "this is how I think about money" document — an accordion of principles that pairs with the open decisions in Scale.

Career Lab

A workspace for professional direction — positioning, options, and preparation, kept alongside the money surfaces.

Focus

A full-screen clock with a focus timer and an animated day/night sky — a distraction-free surface for deep work, with a 14-day intensity heatmap.
