The North Star

Star

The spine everything else hangs from: goals, habits, planning, and direction. The Home view moves through four tabs — Plan, Goals, Today, and Reflect — plus a viewer for the night sky.

The four in-page tabs — explained below

Plan

Planning surfaces would appear here.

What this block does Monthly, weekly, and quarterly planning — the horizon-setting layer, with room for a short intention or "whisper" for the stretch ahead.
How it's determined Nothing is generated — these are the words you write, at three horizons. The app holds the structure and your intention; it doesn't plan for you.

Goals

What this block does A goal tree grouped under the six life foundations — so every goal has a home and nothing floats free of a larger why.
How it's determined Each goal is filed under one of the six foundations you assign it to; the tree groups by the part of life it serves, so structure — not the app — keeps goals honest.

Today

What this block does The month's focus goals with completion bars, daily habit checkboxes, and 21-day trails that turn a repeated action into something you can see building.
How it's determined Completion is counted per day, per habit; a bar fills against the month's target and a 21-day trail lights as the streak grows. The count is the only judge.

Reflect

Sample "bricks" — earned by completing a trail

What this block does A "built wall" of glowing bricks earned when a 21-day trail completes, plus a Principles Library — a personal set of maxims with the why, when-tested, and what-failure-looks-like for each. A drift-check companion lives here too.
How it's determined A brick is minted only when a 21-day trail actually completes — the wall can't be padded. The principles are hand-written; the drift-check reads your recent choices against them and asks where you've slipped.

Your Sky

A constellation viewer and a feeling picker.

What this block does A quiet, atmospheric close to the page — a viewer for the night sky and a simple way to note how the day felt. Ambient day/night motion runs behind it.
How it's determined The sky is drawn from the clock and the date — time of day sets dawn, day, or night; the feeling picker simply records the one word you tap.
无为What Star refuses

Star won't set your goals for you. No AI-assigned resolutions, no imported "best-practice" habits, no productivity guilt. It holds the structure; the direction is yours to name — that's the whole point of a north star.

Life Loops

The open questions of a life — loose threads captured as cards, one surfaced at a time to act on or schedule, with full-text search and a chart of how long things have stayed open.
